We were staying with a friendly couple in Baía Formosa and, having a few more days of vacation, driven by the great advertising of this inn, we decided to go there to see it and, who knows, book a few days there. However, when we arrived there, after 15 km of dirt road, we were very unwelcome by a man who seemed to be the owner. He stopped us before we reached reception, saying that we couldn't enter even to see the facilities. We felt so embarrassed by that way of acting that we no longer had the courage to ask about the availability of rooms in the following days. In any case, even looking from the outside, we saw that the photos used on the inn's websites and social media are very misleading. The photos make the place look like a paradise, on a beach without any movement. But the reality is different. Local residents play football on the beach in front of the inn, and there are also native houses on the edge of the beach, next to the inn, taking away the deserted beach feel that the images make it seem like. For those who know many places like this, it is possible to say that the cost-benefit ratio of this inn is not worth it, even if we were prevented from entering it.
