Paradise

Wonderful place. All in the right dose. We over-relaxed.We found this by chance and fell in love with the place. A fishing village that hides a place that seems to come out of a history book. Simplicity, beauty, good taste, luxury, all together.

Good taste and perfect service

The village of Sagi is still a remote place, exactly in the middle between Natal and Joao Pessoa and whose access has 20 km of dirt road (in bad conditions). But the trip pays off. The beach is very pleasant (the Pontal das Pedras, in one of the corners, offers mini pools right on the sea) as the Pousado do Sagi Iti offers a perfect stay for couples. The decoration of the inn, ecologic and very good taste, provides comfort and well-being. And even without cell phone service, the internet works well and everything is solved. Our stay was perfect!

We have been to Iti many times since 2019. We love the place! It's a lovely atmosphere, nice surroundings, delicious food and the people who work there are absolutely fantastic! I would definitely recommend going to Sagi and eating at Iti♥️

Bistro: A gastronomic paradise in the middle of a natural paradise!

If you are a lover of good cuisine, you cannot leave Bistro Sagi Iti out of your Rio Grande do Norte itinerary! We spent an incredible day in this magical little place, filled with good drinks, great service and a top-notch atmosphere! I believe that the beauty of excellence lies in the small details, and in this bistro you will notice the care in every corner: from the beautiful, organized bathrooms, to the tasteful decor, to the impeccable flavors of each dish! We enjoyed the ceviche (the envy of many oriental/Peruvian restaurants), the incredible tuna tartar (best ever), an antipasti board and the pétit gateau. If you went to the south coast of Rio Grande do Norte, be sure to visit this magical little corner. Prepared caipirinhas, cold beer and a team ready to serve you with speed, precision and excellence! It is very difficult to find a paradise like this in the midst of natural beauty, thanks to the owner, who has great taste, and an incredible guesthouse in front of the bistro! Unique experience

Unique experience! The hostel is wonderful and is part of an amazing nature. The village of Sagi is very unique and special. The staff of the hostel is super affectionate and attentive with guests. Breakfast is excellent. A hostel we will never forget and we want to come back one day 🧡

Bistro: a fantastic day

Staying in Baía Formosa, I spent a day enjoying the beach and the delicacies served by Bistrô Sagi iti (about a 40-minute drive along the normal dirt road, not the sand), as well as a great chat with the owner, Jares. Excellent experience. Great options to choose from, both in starters and main dishes, drinks and desserts. Really surprising quality for such an isolated place. Prices compatible with the quality of the products served. A really very pleasant day.

Incredible exclusive hosting experience!

Staying at Pousada do Sagi Iti means having the best possible experience in terms of exclusivity, comfort, hygiene, organization and most importantly, rest. Everything there is designed for the guest's extreme comfort in a personal way between us and the staff. Everything is very discreet, so that you feel at home. The structure of the Inn is incredible, charming, surrounded by lots of greenery and wild animals, including the best quality materials, from decoration to table, bed and bath accessories. A masterpiece. I stayed in the master suite, which is a few levels above the sea. INCREDIBLE. From its enormous size with living room, bedroom, bathroom with bathtub (sea view) and its great balcony with lots of greenery in front. Who is looking for peace, beautiful views, sea, beach, sun, impeccable service. Sagi Iti is the place. I highly recommend it.

WONDERFUL

The inn is very charming. Delightful pool with the best view of the beautiful Sagi beach. Spacious room and bathroom - delicious shower. Jares and the entire inn staff are wonderful and do everything they can to make you feel at home. Great breakfast, with freshly baked cheese bread and delicious avocado cream. For the fourth time, my husband and I stayed at this guesthouse. This time, I arrived sick from the car journey but within 5 minutes I was already settled in my room with tea, coconut water and medicine. Everything arranged by the super kind girls at reception. The guesthouse is impeccably clean. Jares, the owner, is always ready to help you. The inn's bistro has authentic and fair cuisine. Romantic atmosphere. Sagi is for those who like peace, peace, nice people and sunny days.

Paradise has a name… Sagi Iti!

I was at the inn during the weekend, we were welcomed by everyone with great care and kindness, a beautiful, pleasant, calm place, great for resting, peaceful and safe. The perfect room, very cozy, charming, romantic and charming. The team of attentive and completely caring employees, ready to meet and meet any need. Not to mention the delicious menu at the inn and the Bistro opposite, which served us divinely well and has a unique flavor. Fantastic structure of the inn, beautiful pool area, with a panoramic view of Sagi beach and a beautiful infinity pool. The small village is charming. If you have the opportunity, invest in the late lunch, held in the late afternoon, it is simply perfect, it is a service that the inn provides with great mastery and is a unique and perfect moment for couples in love. It's very worth it. It's an UNFORGETTABLE surprise. Anyway, I hope to return to this paradise soon, we are counting the days. It's a guesthouse right on the sand, everything is very close, within arm's reach. Bistro: Excellent gastronomy in paradise!

For anyone staying at the Sagi Iti guesthouse or not, the bistro is a must-visit. Small and cozy atmosphere, facing the sea. Excellent service, including from Chef Javier, a Frenchman who has run several restaurants throughout Brazil and the world. Very well prepared drinks, especially the cashew caipiroscas with lemon and strawberry with basil. The food is excellent. We tried the risottos, a pasta with Thai shrimp and octopus. Everything was very well served and absolutely delicious.

Our paradise!

We were at the inn during the November holidays and we loved this little corner of paradise. The inn is beautiful, well maintained, the rooms are just the right size. Daily housekeeping is efficient, the bed and bath linen are of quality, as are the bathroom items that are from Natura. The pool overlooking the sea is charming. The inn is on the beachfront and has customer service both at the pool and on the sand. We also recommend the Bistro that is in front of the inn. Excellent food and exquisite service. The dirt road that leads to the inn is in good condition and we didn't experience any problems. We especially thank Rossana and Leila who, during the 4 days we were at the inn, did everything they could to make our stay perfect and we can confirm that it was!

The menu is very varied. We tried the pork ribs, shrimp in strawberry, octopus, fillet medallion and various pastas, all of which were excellent. The atmosphere is 1,000, by the sea, right on the sand. Chef Xavier is extremely attentive, as are the waitresses. We will definitely be back.

Best Inn I’ve been to

I met the hotel in 2018 and since then I never stopped going. Comfort, discretion, impeccable service, good food, contact with nature... and all this with a foot in the sand, sleep with the noise of the sea and with a stunning pool at your disposal. Ideal for couples, the inn accommodates 5 couples when full, so it is always a conducive environment to be together. A bistro in front with delicious dishes, drinks and great wine list. One of the best inns I have ever stayed and I want to come back always. I arrived home from there today, and I miss it! Haha

Here is paradise

We had the pleasure of staying at Sagi Iti for 9 days. We were very comfortable, we enjoyed all the facilities, including the wonderful Bistro, with delicious dishes (don't forget to try the octopus salad and the fish muqueca with shrimp). Perfect stay!

The guesthouse is simply fantastic! It exceeded our expectations. Very comfortable and clean room, very fragrant sheets and towels. Good bed and very comfortable bathroom, including two showers in the box. The owner, Jares, is very friendly and careful, as is the entire inn staff. Rossana and Eliane served us very well during breakfast. And what a breakfast! They prepared dairy-free bread and cake for me, as I have lactose intolerance, in addition to offering specific products. The pool overlooking the beach is sensational. Emphasis on care for the environment and concern for sustainability.

Beautiful!!

When we planned our trip to Pipa we decided to spend a few days in Praia do Sagi. For our break we chose Pousada Sagi Iti and it was THE BEST of the entire trip! When we booked it we knew that we were going to rest and have a good time there. The inn has 5 rooms and does not accept families with children. The room, all made of wood and very rustic, gives it an unmatched charm. The bathroom is huge, with a changing table to leave clothes there, beautiful. Everything very well equipped, air conditioning, TV, minibar, super comfortable bed. They have a pool with the best view in Sagi, and the staff is always so friendly and willing to answer our questions or just talk. Roxana (I don't know if it's spelled that way) made a big difference by always showing us everything about the place, like the iguanas that live there and that can sometimes be seen at the edge of the pool, and telling us everything we wanted to know. We could order food or drinks at the pool or she would make the reservation for us at the hotel restaurant on the beach. On our wedding anniversary (at my husband's request) they made me a decoration with a message on the bed with petals, brilliant!! The owner was an excellent person, very friendly and with whom we could also talk about everything we wanted. I recommend, not 100, but 1000%, a stay there to rest!! Everything excellent!

Bistro: Chef Xavier’s Delights

If you love a well-prepared meal with perfect flavors you have to pay a visit to the Bistro. Chef Xavier's charming Bistro was a great surprise. Inserted in a rustic location and in contact with nature, the exquisite care with the ingredients and quality was unforgettable. The experience of being in front of the sea and being served with so much care and affection was great. The flavors of the dishes, the balance of the ingredients were a gift, the starters were already delicious: the Ceviche served with bread prepared by the chef made you not want to stop eating, the country terrine where all the ingredients had the correct texture served with toast an explosion of flavors. Refreshing fruit caipirinha. Main dishes we tried: the Octopus Risotto, correct texture and perfect creaminess, wonderful seasoning and doneness of the octopus. Medallion of filet mignon with perfect Gorgonzola sauce, perfectly cooked filet, the sauce brought the flavor of the gorgonzola slightly but enough for you to know it was there, served with potato and vegetable gratin with a light touch of curry. Congratulations to everyone involved in the project, it can only be a success. We will definitely return to the inn and we need to try other delicacies.

Small place on the seafront with ambient music and a great playlist. Excellent for lunch and dinner. First class dishes prepared by chef Xavier. I recommend the pork ribs prepared for 5 hours. The service is great and the prices are super fair. The food was just right. Accepts to bring wine (corkage fee). The chef greets you at the table. They provide beach service during the day. At night dinner is by far the best in the region. Debit card accepted. Beer at fair prices for the beach (Heineken 8 reais). They serve aperol and gin and tonic. If you go to sagi you need to eat there. Free WiFi.

Perfect to rest on vacation

Sagi Iti Hotel was unforgettable. The standard and delicacy of the inn is amazing, from details like our names on a welcome card to a pepper pendant on the bathroom faucets. The days, after an excellent night’s sleep, start with a tasty breakfast facing the sea. Then cross the street and you are on the beach, blue sea and snacks, lunch and wonderful drinks in the bistro of the inn itself. Late afternoon in the pool with the incredible view of the beach and finish with a chef dinner with the sound of the sea and, lucky as me, with a wonderful moon being born. The owner and the super attentive staff, friendly and welcoming. It was worth it, Sagi! Thank you for making our vacation so enjoyable 🙂

Delicious food freshly prepared by the chef, always using fresh ingredients. The menu ranges from traditional dishes, such as fish and shrimp moqueca, to more sophisticated seafood dishes, as well as pasta and risotto. The drinks are delicious made with tropical fruits. Very complete wine list. As a starter, be sure to order the shrimp pastry, the best we've ever tried.

The space has some bungalows right in front of the sea. The juices and drinks prepared by Shirley are sensational! The menu is wonderful, the Vogue of ordering everything! Cozy wonderful Paradise in Northeast Brazil

Within a small typical village in southern shore os the state of Rio Grande do Norte, Sagi Iti was for me and my wife a wonderfull “pousada” (much more than a bed & breakfast), cozy, and with great atmosfere and with a uniwue ocean view, besides a great bistro with gret sorts of dishes. Jares (owner) has done very good job there, keeping busy all times taking care o every single detail to make your stay de best possible. Thank you very much Jares.

Our stay at this wonderful inn was unforgettable! Jares and his entire team were formidable. The inn's facilities are like a cinema, everything done with the utmost care. Very cozy, quiet, tasteful corner and close to fantastic beaches. Pay special attention to the foot-in-the-sand restaurant run by a high-spirited Chef (Chef with a capital "C"). I went to the guesthouse last weekend with my husband and we were simply enchanted! We would like to especially thank Leila and Eliane for welcoming us so well and making our weekend the best ever. We loved everything... service, hospitality, amenities, whatever. And don't even mention the food!!!! Excellent dishes at fair prices, both at the inn and the bistro. I can say that we ate the best Paella of our lives!!!!! Thank you girls for everything! We hope to return more often. Awesome guesthouse!!

Extremely cozy, exclusive and tasteful place, just a few steps from the beach. We were very well welcomed by staff who are residents of the village itself and by the owner, who is very clear on his rules of total privacy for a very comfortable accommodation. The apartment is spacious, has a delicious bed, a brand new, fragrant linen and an excellent shower. Breakfast has freshly prepared items: tapioca, eggs and warm cheese bread. The pool is at the highest point of the inn and gives you the feeling that you are in paradise. It is the ideal place for days of rest and peace. We will definitely be back.

Exclusive, refined place with extreme good taste in the decoration of the external areas and rooms. Wonderful infinity pool, with beautiful views and warm water. Excellent service from all staff. The administrator and owner of the place, Jares, gave great tips about the entire region and treats all guests in a very hospitable way.

Perfect place!

Very nice guesthouse, everything is well maintained, great service, perfect place for a couple. There is no cell phone service (it has Wi-Fi), so it helps to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The hotel restaurant is also very good. I highly recommend it.

The romantic dinner is totally worth it! The Bistro has a French chef called Javier, he is excellent! I recommend it for couples who want to enjoy a very romantic moment in peace!

Tranquility in Sagi

We stayed two nights in the standard room and two nights in the Suite. The room is comfortable, with a large bathroom. The rooms are close to each other which takes away some privacy on the balcony. The Suite, without a doubt, stands out for having a larger space and for being further away, ensuring privacy. From the bathtub you have a beautiful view of the sea. The hotel staff is very friendly and does everything they can to serve you well. Chef Xavier from Bistro Sagi Iti deserves to be highlighted. In addition to being very friendly, he shows passion for what he does and his dishes are delicious. The best are the chef's style octopus and the moqueca.
