I really liked the hotel, it offers a lot of comfort and tranquility. Everything very tidy, decorated and clean. The rooms are the same, and they are great, comfortable bed, everything is very new and well maintained. It has cable TV with great image, DVD option, and high-range Wi-Fi! There are only 4 rooms and they do not accept children. There are some sustainability rules when changing bed and bath linen, and fines if stains occur. The swimming pool is at the top of the inn and has a beautiful view. The hotel service is very good, everyone is friendly and attentive. The food is delicious, but it only lasts until 8pm. They offer special dinner service by the sea. I loved one detail, every common area has a speaker playing lounge music... Excellent environment to rest.<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

I have been at the Sagi Iti pousada with my partner for 6 whole days and the best word to define it is the one that everyone uses in their comments: Paradise. Located in an incomparable setting: wild beach, totally virgin but clean and cared for, at the foot of a very small and traditional town where you can disconnect from everything. The hotel is impressive, the decoration is exquisite, the views from the pool are impressive and the service is incomparable. Jares and Fernanda, the owners, have made us feel at home, attentive at all times to anything we may have needed. The breakfast is a real delicacy, the rooms are very comfortable... It is the perfect plan for a vacation of sun, beach and relaxation. Ideal to go with your partner or friends. In short, an unforgettable place. The bad? I loved the days I spent at Sagi Iti, a welcoming place, personally looked after by the owners - Fernanda and Jares - where the intention is to make the guest feel at home. That's exactly how I felt there. If you are looking for a peaceful accommodation, on a practically private beach, with a good value for money, to rest and simply admire nature, this is the place! All the staff, from the moment I arrived, were very helpful and friendly. The room is large, with a good TV and very clean, as is the entire inn. Great bathroom, very spacious. The decoration of all environments is wonderful in every detail. The photos on the website reflect reality, which is very good. I mean, in person, the inn is even more beautiful than in the photos! The cuisine is simple, as is the whole of Sagi beach, a very small town where the guesthouse is located. Don't expect gastronomic innovations or anything fancy, but I didn't miss anything and there is freedom to order something that is not on the menu, at every meal. Furthermore, there are two restaurants nearby - Mandacaru and U\u00e7\u00e1 (you can walk there), if you want to eat out. Meals are served on the balcony, facing the sea and breakfast can be served until noon, which makes it easier to sleep later. The program can be summarized as beach, swimming pool, sleeping listening to the sound of the sea and getting to know the surroundings of the place, which has beautiful and preserved nature scenes. It is important to note that there is no cell phone signal throughout Sagi beach (you will be grateful for that), but there is Wi-Fi connection at the inn. For those arriving by plane, it is worth hiring a transfer directly from the inn, and not renting a car, as access is not very easy, there are stretches of dirt road, and there the car will be unnecessary. Ultimately, Sagi Iti is a place to disconnect and enjoy peace, without giving up comfort! I intend to return!<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

Sagi is a slice of paradise and our stay at Pousada Sagi Iti could not have been better. What can I say about an inn that feels more like home? Where I was called by name. Where there was no time to wake up or have breakfast because it is served at any time in the morning (of course). Where I felt completely at ease and everyone, but I mean everyone, contributed. The owners deserve separate praise; Jares, always willing to provide an impeccable and personalized service, and Fernanda, surprising in every detail, in the care of the garden and in the decoration of the inn, oozes charm and good taste! The team was always available for anything we needed. In summary, the staff on behalf of Elba, always with a smile on their face and attending to all my wishes, provided me with a weekend of rest and tranquility. The place, Praia do Sagi, is not the easiest to get to, as we passed through a good stretch in the middle of the sugarcane field on a clay road, but nothing that the signs don't help with and the GPS too (friendly to all trips). . But this detail is something that only adds to the place being peaceful and integrated with nature (beach, river, forest, dunes, cliffs) contributing to the purpose of rest and leaving worries aside. The sea directly in front of the inn is not inviting for swimming as it is open sea, but just walk 100 meters and there are natural pools formed by coral reefs. Cool! The inn impresses in every aspect: sensational service, dedicated staff, refined and comfortable facilities, lots of greenery, excellent infrastructure and cuisine. We had a great time at the inn. We decided on the fly to spend three days in Sagi Iti, in the end we stayed for six. The photos and opinions had convinced us, but the reality is much better. From the first minute, our stay was perfect. Sagi is a beautiful town where you can see the authentic Brazil, friendly, happy and welcoming, a place that one would never want to leave. Its extensive, wild and empty beach is right at the foot of this wonderful inn. All the staff, starting with Jares and Fernanda, treated us excellently. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean, every detail is perfectly cared for. The breakfast is excellent and the pool has spectacular views. When providing accommodation services in a small inn, it is always a risk to find the right balance between proximity and the relative distance that must be created with guests. The secret of the Sagi Iti guesthouse is exactly this. We were treated \"as if we were at home\", but without the owners and staff of the inn being at any time excessive or seeming to force false friendliness or kindness. The kindnesses and sympathies always seemed genuine to us, and the result of a more general vision and attitude about what it means to \"welcome well\". We \"feel at home\" because we feel comfortable, relaxed, well looked after; and (thankfully!) we felt like we were away from home, in a special place, away from everyday problems and being very welcome in someone else's home. This is an impression shared by six people, various \"publics\" from the same family: two in their 30s; two over sixty; one in eighty and one in ninety. Sagi Iti is a guesthouse with many \"concrete\" qualities: it has great and comfortable rooms, it has a stunning swimming pool, it is located on the beach, it has beautiful surroundings (Atlantic Forest, coastline, lagoons and rivers), and the kitchen it is excellent. But the highlight is that it is a guesthouse made of people. Sagi Iti is made up of the treats from the incomparable Elba, Leila and Cintia and the great conversations (not forgetting the small, great kindnesses) with Fernanda and Jares. Isn't it a cheap inn? No. But I think it's worth the price. Receiving well, with good people working, good food, good structure, in a small and cozy place (outside the scale of large hotels\/resorts and large tour operators) is not only an exercise of goodwill. It costs effort and investment, and this must be recognized, to the extent of each person's possibilities. Sleep and wake up hearing only the sound of the sea (for those who live on a busy street in a big city like me, this is paradise), enjoy the view and the water in the pool, eating a pastry and drinking a caipirinha or coconut water , walking along the beach and taking a dip in the sea, having lunch of moqueca or shrimp in strawberries, observing nature... I had a \"very difficult\" life during my three days at the Sagi Iti guesthouse. I highly recommend it and I would like to thank the staff at the inn for welcoming older and younger people, with their different needs.<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

Initially, the choice of this inn was due to the good reviews on this wonderful website. Leaving the BR-101, after the checkpoint towards Natal-Jo\u00e3o Pessoa, take a sandy road and in less than 30 minutes you will reach the inn. And when we got there, it was all true: fantastic in every aspect! Impeccable service, delicious food, very good and new rooms, absolute peace and an outstanding look. From the ambient music to the service...everything is very tasteful. The inn has 4 rooms (which helps maintain a peaceful environment) and lunch is included in the daily rate. Furthermore, meal times are very flexible. From the pool, you have a general view of the beach. For dinner, the Mandacaru restaurant, which is located in the village, is a good choice, with delicious dishes. It's a place to rest. If this is what you want, you will find it in Sagi Iti, and to top it off, with all the benefits mentioned here. It really lives up to all the excellent reviews it received! We spent five nights at the inn: the room was very comfortable, with shelves and places to store clothes, suitcases, etc.; well-designed bathroom, with two excellent showers; sockets, bedside light - in short, functional details that make a difference. In a place where cell phones practically don't work, the internet is good and makes a difference. The breakfast is well served and the restaurant is also very good (but it closes early, so plan for dinner). The best thing about this guesthouse, however, is the friendliness of the owners, the couple Jares and Fernanda; the careful service and details; the possibility of taking your wine to the swimming pool located at the top of the inn with a stunning view of the beach; the attention of the team, always willing to help. It is a delicious experience in the Baia Formosa region, right on the sand. We highly recommend it!<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

We arrived at the inn to recharge our batteries after a month of traveling. We had good recommendations and had seen the series of positive reviews left here on Trip. But not even reading so many compliments could I imagine the quality of Sagi Iti. It's MUCH BETTER than I thought. When you leave BR, you take a dirt road (good, nothing difficult or uncomfortable) through the sugarcane fields and you think you will end up, literally, nowhere. At the end of the road there is the village of Sagi, where the guesthouse is located. The place is calm and simple. And the guesthouse is right in front of the beach, at the very end of the village. The care taken by the inn is evident right at the entrance. Everything is very well decorated. The whimsy can be seen in the smallest details. All the environments are very welcoming and you really don't feel like you're in a hotel. With just four bedrooms for up to two people, it feels like home. Meals (coffee, lunch and dinner) are served facing the sea. Crossing the gate you are already on the beach. The pool is at the top, from where you can see the entire beach. The rooms are clean, beautiful, quiet and comfortable. Everything is in very good taste. Wooden furniture, cozy decor, perfect lighting. The products used by the inn are always very good. Fish, seafood and fruit are always fresh. What greatly improves the experience at the inn, however, is the staff. Jares and Fernanda, the owners, are top quality people. Elba, Leila and C\u00edntia, who take care of guests throughout the day, are lovely. You get the feeling that everyone is there to give you a perfect experience. And this is very good. Pousada Sagi Iti is very intimate (only 4 guest rooms!) in a small remote fishing village at the end of a 11 mile dirt road through sugar cane fields. Yet its accommodations, service, and food are all first rate. I think it's the only place to stay in the area so at most there will only be 6 other tourists in the entire town. So if you are looking for wild night life keep looking, but if you want miles of beach to yourself in unspoiled North Eastern Brasil, this is worth getting off the beaten path to.\nThe staff is attentive and the food is excellent. But there are a few small local bars and restaurants in the town so you can get out and drink and eat with the locals anytime as well. (100% safe BTW, the stories of crime in Brasil must be based on the large cities in the south from my experience.)\nThe rooms and common areas are very tastefully done and perfectly maintained.\nI can't fail to mention the owners Jares and his Wife. They instantly became like old friends. They genuinely enjoy showing you around, arranging a day trip, whatever.\nWe had a rental car, but driving in Brasil, at least the populated areas, is not for the faint of heart, so if you rather not sweat it Jares would be happy to arrange for transportation to get there. I promise the experience of a lifetime.<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

We stayed with my boyfriend there for a weekend and we loved it! There are only 4 rooms, so you have the feeling you are a guest by friends. Everything is very relaxed. The Pousada is exactly on the beach, you wake up in the morning from the sound of the waves. The beach is wonderful, almost exclusive, as very few people are there. Jares-the owner- and the staff are very warm, kind people, ready to help you in any way they can. The rooms are clean and comfortable, bathroom and schower simple und modern. My finance and I spent a few nights at Sagi for the World Cup. By the end of our stay we were so reluctant to leave, as it was the most wonderful place! Jares, Fernanda and their staff made every day feel like it was our home. The rooms are lovely ( I love the double shower heads in the shower!). Also the handmade welcome card was such a beautiful touch. What I loved most about this place is that it is small and intimate. You feel like you are on your own private beach. My husband and I stayed at Pousada Sagi Iti while in Brazil for the world cup. We loved every minute of our stay! The pousada itself is lovely, located right on the beach and surrounded by beautiful flowers and landscaping. The rooms are all tastefully decorated, quite and clean with fresh flowers brought in every day. There are incredible views of the beach from both the deck and pool.The beach is very private and excellent for swimming. We found our stay to be so refreshing, and spent time swimming in the ocean as well as the pool. The staff was friendly and fun to talk to. We have stayed many places over the years and have never experienced such kindness an hospitality as we did from the owners Jares and Fernanda. They were so attentive to anything we needed and really went out of there way to make our stay special. We will always remember their kindness and would not think of staying anywhere else for any future trips to this area. Me, my partner and friends had an unforgettable experience at Pousada Sagi Iti. We spent four nights there, during Easter holidays, and we are already planning to go back. If you are looking for exclusivity, the most friendly staff and excellent food, this is your place. The Pousada has only 4 rooms, with excellent size and very nice decoration. Bathroom is huge and is provided with top quality amenities. Breakfast is included in the rate and comprises juices, fruit, a great variety of bread, cakes, jam and local dishes. We also had dinner every night at the pousada. The food is delicious and the menu has several options of fish and other sea food. There is a beach right in front of the Pousada, which is almost exclusive (the Pousada is located in a small village in the sea shore). This small-scale pousada in Sagi has a great balance between luxury and perfection without losing authenticity. It is located in a fairly primitive village near Baia Formosa, but in the Pousada you will lack nothing. The food is well prepared and delicious, the staff is heart-warmingly caring and the pousada itself is very neat, well finished and very tasteful. Our stay at Sagi Iti was an unforgettable experience. The pousada is simply lovely and a passionate work of the owners, Fernanda and Jares. Their artistic and caring hearts are evident throughout in every detail in the pousada and in Sagi (the tiny village of 800 people) as everyone in the village not only knows them but has some sort of association with them--wonderful to see. They are the ONLY Pousada in the village and they have built this incredible Pousada in the most beautiful spot right on a fabulous beach.\nParadise!\nOh, and the staff (beijos to Elba and Cynthia, etc) was delightful. I will never forget them.\nOr the many wonderful memories that I have of Sagi and Sagi Iti.\nObrigada!<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

The beach is beautiful.. warm water.. still a primitive place which is increasingly rare to find.. the inn facing the sea is very good.. the beach service with caipinhas and grilled shrimp completes the paradise.<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

Great service, wonderful location, silence and the privilege of having an entire beach to yourself. If you want to party, Praia da Pipa is close by. The owner (Jares) is very nice people and makes us feel at home<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t
